Two years later, Ward and Jacob are trying to balance their shared new reality. Jacob is still struggling with what has happened and what WILL happen as he sinks deeper into Ward’s world. By the end of part two it feels like he has not only accepted his new circumstances but has developed a little pride in being able to help Ward accomplish his goals. They are now their goals together as a team and they’re truly stronger together. Not your typical dark romance and very thought provoking.

3.75 stars. This pretty much picks up where book one ended but didn’t have quite the same feel to it for me. Idk, maybe it’s just me 🤷♀️ Definitely needs to be read after part one.
